Hello, I purchased this specifically for the ability to have mods automatically downloaded and forge installed for my Minecraft server, to help those who may have issues. I'm unable to find ANY documentation on what to do. I purchased the lowest tier version because "patching" didn't sound like it had to do with downloading the mod files. Is there any documentation on configuring a Minecraft Launcher to install a specific version of Forge and automatically download mods? The templates already have a "mods" button, so I'm assuming this was previously thought about. Please help (I'm not a developer, just trying to use your product to help my community)

Pre-sales category is for users who have not purchased.I have moved your topic to the appropriate location.

As for your question, you do not need aops. Aops allows for file by file patching. The gamer edition features The built in updater. This system downloads and runs a single executable.

You need to create an installer using something like NSIS or Clickteam install creator. Inside this installer you will have the contents of the minecraft directory such as your mods, forge etc. Then you configure your launcher to use said installer for the built in updater.

Please be sure to read the documentation. More than likely the answer to the question you are about to ask is there. Let's save us both the trouble 🙂
