We are currently offering up to $100 in compensation for high quality, professional video tutorials for V3. If you are interested please indicate below what feature(s) you will be creating video(s) for so multiple users do not create the exact same tutorial.

Also keep a couple things in mind

  • Videos will be uploaded to the official ByteBox Media YouTube
  • The videos must be high quality and professional to quality for the bounty
    • No profanity, nsfw content, inaudible microphones, background music, or videos under 720p
    • Bounty will be rewarded based on the quantity and quality of videos produced, should we decide to use them
  • Videos will be property of Byte Box Media
  • If you wish to have you video removed in the future you may request to do so, and it will be after we have created a suitable replacement so as not to disrupt out ability to support users.

Please be sure to read the documentation. More than likely the answer to the question you are about to ask is there. Let's save us both the trouble 🙂

I would like to make a set of videos on what tripped me up the most when getting my launcher setup:

  • using GIMP to build transparent pngs from images
  • building simple bat scripts that do things outside of the base directory with the launcher
  • framework of the patcher (I know the patcher is being rebuilt but i assume the primary paradigms will stay the same
    • version.txt usage
    • defining patcher meta properties
    • building a patch
    • distributing it

@mowford Go for it. Once you've made the videos send the files to us to review and upload to the BBM channel.

Please be sure to read the documentation. More than likely the answer to the question you are about to ask is there. Let's save us both the trouble 🙂
