This section allows you to customize the look of your Patch System window.
Splash Screen
If you intend to use a Splash Screen, upload one here by selecting the image from your computer and uploading it.
The recommended specs are: 1280 x 720 in size and a filesize no bigger than 300kb. You should convert and compress your image to JPG. The bigger the image, the longer it will take the user to download the splash image so you need to be mindful of this.
Background Image
This is a background image for the patch system window. You can select from a pre-made image we have provided you with, or upload your own image.
The recommended size should be 1280 x 720 in pixels and the filesize should ideally be no bigger than 400-500kb. Remember, your user’s download and re-download this image every time they run the patch system so it’s better to be on the safe side and compress your image into JPG before uploading.
Notes
If you are not using a Splash Screen in your patch settings, you should ‘Remove Image’ because the patch system will still download the image if it’s in here.
The same goes for the background image. If you are using the patch system in ‘Silent Mode’, you should ‘remove image’ in this section so the patch system doesn’t download the image as it won’t be seen anyway.
