The webview object is a standard Microsoft web component. It enables you to show basic HTML/CSS webpages inside your game launcher.

Notes about WebView

The webview object is a Microsoft object inside every version of Windows. It is based upon the old Internet Explorer web component library, later modified by Microsoft.

Support has now officially been stopped by Microsoft. This component does not support some of the latest technologies like Javascript, HTML5, CSS3 etc.

You can always purchase the WebKit+ object if you wish to have more web capabilities inside your game launcher.
