The Open URL event action allows you to specify which URL to go to. This can be any web page/web site/URL. You must specify the protocol (ie: http/https://) at the beginning.
Developer Edition users can enjoy the additional parameters property. This allows you to send specific parameters as queries to the URL.
In the above example, we want to send a Custom Variable which we took from a text box inside the launcher. The user can input text into this text box, which is converted into a custom variable and then sent along this action as a parameter.
