The Data Encryption is a plugin available for all Editions of GLCV3. You can purchase it from here.
If you have the Developer Edition of GLCV3, Data Encryption comes with this Edition for free. Only Gamer and Indie Edition users will require a purchase.
What does the plugin do?
The Data Encryption plugin will compress and encrypt all the information inside of your data file. This stops anyone from tampering or looking at the data or information you have for your game launcher.
How to use Data Encryption
This plugin is very simple. When you go to Build your launcher using the Build Launcher dialog, you will see a toggle for ‘Encrypt Config’. In order to activate it, simply click the toggle switch to Green. Now when you build your launcher, it will automatically encrypt your data file.
