The color dialog
The built-in color dialog allows you to choose a color to use for that particular setting or property.
You can simply hover over the color chart with your mouse to select a color.
There is a quick palette of colours to use just below the color chart, to quickly select popular colors.
Alternatively, you can use one of the settings boxes below to specify your color. You can simply click on any of the boxes and manually type in the index, HEX or RGB codes yourself.
Hover Index
This is the system index color of what you are hovering over in the color chart.
Chosen Index
This is the currently chosen color displayed as the system index.
RGB Colors
This is the RGB of the currently chosen color.
HEX Code
This is the HEX code of the currently chosen color. You must specify the HEX code without the hash #.
Quick Palette
There is a quick palette just below the color chart allowing you to select the most popular colors immediately such as White, Red, Green, Blue, Grey, Yellow, Purple, Orange and Black.
